This week I took a look at the year so far in Cherrydale Real Estate Arlington VA, as well as Waverly Hills. These neighborhoods of North Arlington are adjacent and interconnected, and the combined area of single family homes is highly desirable for families.

This is an area of North Arlington with strong home sales in the first half of 2014. The average sale price increased 8.5 % over 2013, and homes have sold for 99% of list price on average.

Like many other areas of North Arlington, inventory is currently low in these neighborhoods in the lower end of the price range. Homes under $1 Million are selling very quickly and for full asking price.

Inventory in the upper end of the market is fairly high as of August 1st. Homes are still selling for full value, but there is currently more supply than demand in the top end of the market.
