freecycle arlington

I’ve been a big fan of the Freecycle network since I first learned about the concept years ago. But I hadn’t really participated much until recently, when I stumbled upon their website ( https://www.freecycle.org/). For those of you who are unfamiliar with Freecycle, it’s a really cool concept. Here’s a short description from their site:

‘The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 5,000+ groups with 7 million members across the globe. It’s a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and keeping good stuff out of landfills.

Membership is free, and everything posted must be free, legal and appropriate for all ages.’ – https://www.freecycle.org/

The Freecycle Arlington Community Board is really active. I’m excited to jump back into it again. Check it out and get involved!
