We’ve been seeing the same trend in Northern Virginia over the past two years—Inventory is chronically low, leading to a strong sellers market. It has driven consistent growth in home values over the past five years, but this Spring we are seeing that inventory reach 5 year lows (see chart below). It’s a great time to sell, but not the best time to buy.
